Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today, I’m excited to share another hidden gem from Çivril—Işıklı Lake. If you ever find yourself traveling between Uşak and Isparta, keep an eye out for this breathtaking lake along the way.
Every year, thousands of visitors come here to enjoy the stunning views, the mesmerizing lotus flowers, and the rich birdlife. It’s a true paradise for nature lovers!
Let’s talk about what makes this place so special:
1. A Perfect Picnic Spot with an Unforgettable View
If you love peaceful moments in nature, Işıklı Lake is the perfect place for a picnic. Imagine sitting by the lake, enjoying a delicious meal while watching the sun slowly set over the shimmering water. The combination of the golden sunset and the calm lake view creates a magical atmosphere. If you prefer not to bring your own food, don’t worry! There are local restaurants around the lake where you can try fresh fish and other delicious dishes.
2. A Boat Ride Through Lotus Paradise
One of the most amazing experiences at Işıklı Lake is taking a boat tour among the lotus flowers. These tours run from June 1st to July 31st, so if you want to see the lotuses in full bloom, summer is the best time to visit. However, I recommend coming in early June because the lake starts to lose water due to heat and irrigation later in the summer.
The boat tours depart from Beydili and Seraserli piers, and trust me—it’s an experience you won’t forget! Floating among the lotus flowers while surrounded by birds and peaceful nature feels like stepping into a dream.
